ITINERARY

From Bourg d'Oisans, head for the Cascade de la Pisse, along the valley's greenway path.

The path rises through the woods and becomes more aerial, giving you the opportunity to start discovering the view of the Vénéon and Auris en Oisans.
The hike then becomes more difficult, mainly in the forest, on a steep path with a few wired passages and a crossing over a "monkey bridge". On this wild and spectacular trail along the waterfalls of the Rochail stream, magnificent views of the waterfall and the plain await you.
Villard Notre Dame, with its centuries-old church, awaits you at the end of the climb.

Join two traditional villages, the highest perched in the Oisans, for a well-earned break.
The well-marked path starts behind the church of Villard Notre Dame, then joins the forest track. The panorama over the Romanche valley, the Oisans mountains and villages is superb! Take a (very) short detour to stroll through Villard Reymond.

From Villard Reymond, return to the Col du Solude. The descent is via the path that was, just a few centuries ago, the only passage between Bourg d'Oisans and Villard Reymond for the locals... and the letter carrier! This is an opportunity to admire the slate support work on the laces. The path winds its way up steep, well-trodden switchbacks through a beech forest to the Bourg d'Oisans Belvedere and the town center.
