Via ferrata of Saint Christophe en Oisans – Section 2

Pedestrian access St Christophe :
At the foot of the Venosc gondola, walk down to the Bourg d'Arud bridge and join the path to Plan du Lac. At the white-water base, follow signs for Le Puy / Saint Christophe en Oisans.

This is a ferrata hike for 6-year-olds and up! Its original route was improved in 2018 to create escape routes and make it accessible to younger climbers. A continuation of the 1st part, it takes you to the top of the village.

Equipment hire available at the whitewater base at Plan du lac.

The return journey from the Collet statue takes around 15 minutes: take the path down to the village, and a few minutes from the finish, follow the newly laid-out route. Some steep sections will require adults to be vigilant with younger children.

For more experienced climbers, there's a via ferrata starting from Plan du Lac and finishing at Le Banchet or Le Collet. This section is much more aerial and challenging.
