The maison du Parc National is a welcoming visitor centre that is a good introduction to visiting the Oisans valleys and the Ecrins massif. The fauna, flora, history and mountain trades are displayed in detailed in pictures on fun, interactive supports for both old and young alike!
About : House of the Ecrins National Park
The reading corner has been created for children and wide-ranging documentation about the national park is available for consultation. The centre also houses temporary exhibitions, conferences and a shop, selling postcards, guides and books.
The museum is a member of the "Route des Savoir-Faire de l'Oisans". Meet a park warden at the Lac du lauvitel (Bourg d'Oisans) between 10am and 2pm in July and August.
