2-day donkey trek around Saint Christophe!
"During the summer, the Vénéon paths have ears... "
About : Au pas de l’Âne – 2-day hike
Ideal companions for carrying luggage and motivating children to walk, donkeys accompany you on a 2-day itinerant hike to discover the diversity of the upper Vénéon valley in a unique and original way, from the typical village of Saint Christophe to the foot of the Meije, in the heart of the Ecrins National Park.
The donkeys from Provence have been spending the summer in the upper Vénéon valley for several years, arriving in the Vénéon in early June after a 15-day transhumance...so they're in great shape and well-prepared to explore the hiking trails between Saint Christophe and La Bérarde with you!
