Saint Laurent’s Day

STARTING AT 10:00 a.m.:
It’s party time in the village!

Activities for all ages in the streets of Le Bourg and in front of the community center: inflatable attractions, numerous game and activity booths—free and open to everyone 



From 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: “The Champions’ Challenge”: On Place du Cristal, local organizations will compete in teams: Giant Target, Trivia, waiter races, soapbox races… and plenty of other challenges on the program!

Fun and laughter guaranteed: come cheer them on or put together your own team to take them on! (Meet at 9:45 a.m. for on-site registration; the event is open to both vacationers and residents. For more information, contact the events department: animations@mairie-bourgdoisans.fr)



STARTING AT 11:30 a.m.:
Complimentary drinks for passersby to wrap up the morning, followed by a demonstration by the “Dansencorps” association


STARTING AT 2:30 PM:
In the streets, starting from the EHPAD: a parade of local organizations, stilt walkers, and various performers. This lively parade, led by a group of merrymakers—including professional and community artists—is sure to entertain you.
They’ll parade through the streets to the sound of the marching band and background music!



STARTING AT 3:30 PM:
Following the parade, the festivities will resume in full swing in the village streets and on Place du Cristal: games and activities for children of all ages.

At 4:30 p.m.: Finals of the Champions’ Challenge, on Place du Cristal



STARTING AT 8:45 p.m.,
Place du Cristal: giveaway of glow-in-the-dark goodies and a disco concert by the band SIDE UP



At the same time, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM: games for the whole family in the streets near the market halls



At 10:00 PM:
Closing Dance at Place du Cristal with Side Up, a disco/funk band whose mission is to get you singing and dancing to the greatest disco/funk hits from the ’70s to today. Through legendary covers of songs by Stevie Wonder, Prince, Bruno Mars, ABBA, Chic, and many others, Side Up embraces an eclectic and decidedly modern sound.

The funk energy is embodied by five musicians who are sure to bring the style’s iconic groove to life and get the dance floor moving!
