Kaori SAKAI, organist

Kaori SAKAI was born in Sendai, Japan. She began playing the piano at the age of three, then studied organ in Kinue Aota's class at Miyagi Gakuin Women's University from 2003 to 2009. During her studies, she gave regular concerts and took part in masterclasses with Lorenzo Ghielmi and Zsigmond Szathmáry.

She then moved to France to study with Michel Bouvard (organ), Jan Willem Jansen (organ and harpsichord) and Yasuko Bouvard (fortepiano) at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Toulouse. There, she obtained a DEM in organ with "Très Bien" honors in June 2011, then a DEM in harpsichord with "Très Bien" honors by unanimous jury vote in 2014. In 2015, she graduated from the Institut Supérieur des Arts de Toulouse with a Diplôme National Supérieur Professionnel de Musicien.

In 2016, she was appointed titular organist of the Giroud-Bacot organ at Saint-Laurent church in Bourg d'Oisans, an instrument which in 2023 received the first prize in France for the promotion of a new organ.

She also organizes concerts for the Association des Amis de l'Orgue en Oisans. She currently teaches organ at the Conservatoire Les Deux Muses in Melun (Seine-et-Marne) and at the Conservatoire de Musique et d'Art Dramatique in Lucé (Eure-et-Loir).


Pasquale Mourey, soprano singer

Alongside her university training, Pasquale studied organ, voice and early music
music at the Conservatoire de Strasbourg. She began her career as a soloist in 1986, appearing in
productions ranging from comic opera to musical theater and medieval liturgical drama.

Her musical sensitivity and her taste for a more interior vocal expression
frequently engaged to perform oratorios and chamber music,
orchestral recitals and piano/harpsichord recitals.
Engaged as a permanent
artist with Ensemble Organum since 1988, she has also taken part in productions by
Atelier Lyrique de Tourcoing and Les Musiciens du Louvre.

She has collaborated on several occasions with the La Fenice ensemble conducted by Jean Tubery
notably in the church of Brunoy.

Teaching vocal technique is also an essential part of her activity. In
2004, she became a specialized assistant at the Lyon Conservatoire. Since September 2007, she has been
at the Conservatoires d'Auxerre and Joigny, and continues to pursue her artistic
recitals, chamber music, baroque ensembles...

A graduate in perceptive psychopedagogy since 2012 (University Diplomas entitled
respectively "Mouvement Art Expressivité" and "Pédagogie de l'Expressivité"), she now
combines her new skills with her singing teaching.


Carla Mourey, harpist

Carla MOUREY has been studying music since the age of 4. She began
flute at age 6 and harp at age 7 at the CRD d'Auxerre. She obtained her DEM in
harp in 2020 at the CRR in Dijon.

She is currently studying harp at the Conservatoire de Boulogne Billancourt in Anne Ricquebourg's class.
in Anne Ricquebourg's Classe Préparatoire à l'Enseignement Supérieur. She intends to become
a future as a professional harpist, and is considering further training abroad.

She regularly performs with ensembles or as a soloist with the ensembles in which she
