Jeudi du Bourg – Peaky bikers

At the end of the 19th century in Birmingham, bicycle couriers worked for gangs of thieves... They were highly skilled and easily eluded the police. But it was in 1921 that the first troupe of bicycle acrobats, the Peaky Bikers, was formed. For 20 years, they roamed the roads of Great Britain and then Europe, before disappearing after the war without a trace. Costumes and presentation from the 20s, acrobatics on the ground and on a springboard... Only the bikes and aerial flights have been brought up to date. Johny and Eliot, the only descendants of this line of outstanding acrobats, are now reviving everything that made the troupe so famous and successful.
