Festive, reimagined folk music from the Dauphiné region. AFLAMA—which means “to set ablaze” in Occitan—is a highly explosive percussion and vocal trio.
About : Concert: Trio Aflama
Drawing inspiration from the poetry of songs, the breath of voices, drums, and bells (those of the Vercors cows from the last century), the trio reimagines the folk music of the Dauphiné. Driven by the energy of lively polyphony, Aflama leads the dance and aims to turn every celebration into a blazing bonfire.
Manon PETIT: vocals, percussion (bells). Alizée PLANQUE: vocals, percussion (SPD electronic pad and sampler). Adeline GUERET: vocals, percussion (tùn-tùn, drums).
