All children of icare

For an entire day, we invite you to leaf through Le Carnet de voyage d'Icare and
revisit the myth in the form of a show.
This multi-dimensional creation will wander from the church, through the market square,
to the Bourg-d'Oisans soccer stadium.
Nearly 350 amateur, professional and passionate artists will recount the great inventions
through some twenty tableaux. Reflecting on progress, Icarus and Daedalus
and Daedalus travel enthusiastically from innovation to innovation. Between each tale, a musical
a musical performance, a moment of dance, an aerial parade. And never far away is the possible
when our two inventors get too close to the sun.
The day's events will alternate between amateur performances from the local music school and primary schools
and elementary school, as well as professional and amateur concerts.
Four acrobatic paragliding flights will punctuate the day, offering spectacular moments
of aerial performance.
These flights will be filmed live and shared on the stage of the theater truck.
This 15,000-year-old travel log will be interpreted by two professional artists:
Angelina Galvani and Alphonse Atacolodjou, accompanied by a young artist-in-training,

This creation is the fruit of an artistic and cultural residency organized in Oisans from January 2025 to May
2025 as part of a Territorial Agreement for Education in the Arts and Culture.
The residency involved over 300 hours of artistic workshops (dance, music) and 10 days of creative work in the area.
