In 1925, Grenoble welcomed all the industrial and tourist delegations from France and abroad for the International Exhibition of White Coal and Tourism.

Each participant was keen to showcase his or her expertise. Prestigious Art Deco pavilions were built. Over 1 million visitors strolled the aisles of the exhibition from May 21 to October 25 of that year. This exhibition, featuring period photos and postcards, takes visitors on a journey to the heart of the pavilions.
