Via Ferrata de Saint Christophe- Sports section

Departing from Plan du Lac, the lower section of the Via Ferrata de St Christophe en Oisans follows a traverse path over the turquoise waters of the Vénéon.

The route through the cliffs is fun, varied and challenging. There's no way out, so it's recommended that you've done this before, or that you're a good sport. You'll start gently by crossing the Vénéon, a superb bubbling torrent. The route then rises to reach a footbridge. You'll then have to climb over a good spur and slabs to reach the road.

Difficulty: Difference in altitude 200 m. Technical difficulty: Intermediate. This itinerary includes a few vertical or overhanging sections. Previous via ferrata or climbing experience is recommended.
Physical level required: moderate, used to walking 2-3 hours.

Equipment required: 1 pair of sneakers and 1 small rucksack with 1 pair of light gloves, 1 water bottle, 1 pair of sunglasses, 1 sun cream and 1 windbreaker.

Minimum age: 11 years

Welcome: The outing will take place if at least 3 people register. We will contact you if the outing is cancelled due to lack of participants.

On request, the outing can be organized on other dates for pre-constituted groups of at least 3 people.
