Alpine pasture outing – Meet the shepherd – Ornon

Meet the shepherd, a full-day outing accompanied by a mid-mountain guide.

Following in the footsteps of thousands of ewes, shepherds and their dogs, come and experience a day of calm, well-being and mountain harmony in Taillefer.

Meet your guide in Ornon between 7.30 and 8.30 a.m. (meeting point + time sent the day before depending on flock position). Off we go for a 2h30 walk, 350m ascent, to meet up with Cédric the shepherd, his sheep and his dogs. Back to the car by 4pm.

Bring: picnic, morning and afternoon snacks, 1.5L water per person, walking shoes, sneakers with crampons, walking sticks if you wish, sun cream, hat or cap, windbreaker or warm coat.

This activity is offered by the Maison des Alpages de l'Isère, as part of the Alpages Outings which take place throughout the summer, departing from various villages.
