Discover the story of Simone LAGRANGE, an emblematic figure of the Second World War and the trial of Klaus BARBIE. Exhibition based on the comic book series by Jean-David MORVAN, David EVRARD, BENBK and Walter PEZZALI.

About : Simone exhibition

To coincide with the release of the second volume of the comic strip Simone, published by Glénat, the Musée de la Résistance et de la Déportation de l'Isère, the Médiathèque départementale de l'Isère and Glénat are launching a new travelling exhibition entitled "Simone":

An exhibition as an extension of the comic strip: after discovering the story of Simone Lagrange, a native of Isère, Jean-David Morvan (script) and David Evrard (drawing) took it upon themselves to tell it to as many people as possible in a comic strip triptych published by Editions Glénat. It was on this occasion that this exhibition was born, with the aim of completing and extending the discovery of this emblematic figure of the Second World War and the Barbie trial.

Passing on history: in fourteen panels, this exhibition retraces the historical context and the policy of persecution that led to the Shoah. Illustrated with archive photos and extracts from the first two volumes, it provides the elements needed to understand and grasp this history, an essential step in the work of remembrance.
