A first approach to climbing, via ferratas are the «iron ways» originating in Italy and now widely developed in France.
About : Introduction to via ferrata with the guide office
Via ferrata are "railroads" that originated in the Dolomites and have since been widely developed in France.
They must be approached with equipment and a minimum of technique. They offer you a different view of the mountains, and the opportunity to discover the sensations of mountaineering: emptiness, verticality, aesthetics of the route, evolution in a mineral and wild world.
This outing can be organized at L'Alpe d'Huez, Vaujany and Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans.
Equipment supplied: helmets, harnesses, lanyards.
Equipment to bring: hiking boots or sneakers, appropriate clothing, windbreaker or fleece, rucksack + water + snacks.
