Ascendance flight

The "Ascending Flight" offered by the instructors of AkèneFly Parapente, is an opportunity to tickle the highest peaks of the Grandes Rousses massif overlooking the Alpe d'Huez!
The DMC cable lifts gives us easy access to the take-off at 2700m altitude. During the trip, your instructor can introduce you to the main principles of mountain aerology and especially the formation of ascents ... Because once in the air, the game will be to surf these masses of hot air to offer you more than just a glide to the station: that's what we call a thermal flight. Like a raptor, we will seek to rise even higher by following the ascending currents. The show is amazing! Little by little, the Lac Blanc is revealed under our feet, the 6 valleys of Oisans are profiled and the surrounding peaks appear at hand. This altitude gain (without any engine!) will allow us to lengthen the flight time, offer unsuspected views from the ground and, for the more adventurous, may give the opportunity to perform some more sportive maneuvers !
This aerial walk will take us back to the Alpe d'Huez 1800m, at the foot of the cable lifts, where you can at a glance trace the incredible route made between ridges and pastures.
