Le tour du Plan – Short walk

From the tourist office, walk up rue générale de Gaulle and rue de Viennois.
Turn left into rue Dr Daday and continue along rue Humbert which passes to the left of the church and the Musée des Minéraux.
Then turn left onto Route Saint-Claude and follow the GR markings (horizontal red and white markings). If you are on foot or by bike, you can continue to the right on the chemin de la Fare. If you have a pushchair, take the route du Vert on the left.
At the end of the path (or road), you arrive at the Fournol bridge, the start of the canoe and paddle route on the Rive. You are right next to the small lake La Bleu, an opportunity to take a break before continuing.
Turn left onto route du Plan (don't follow the GR signs) and follow it for about 40 minutes. You will pass the equestrian centre and the Jardins d'Oisans, a permaculture farm which is a member of the Route des Savoir-Faire de l'Oisans.
Continue on the route des Colporteurs and turn left onto the rue du 19 mars 1962 to return to the starting point.
